01/04/09 - Server Updates
Wow... an update!! Unfortunately it's just some boring stuff. The server hardware was updated and the Webcalendar and Wiki were both down for a few weeks while I sorted out some security issues. The Webcalendar has been removed in favor of Google Calendar. The Wiki is back up, but with a few more restrictions: You must create an account to modify it.
07/28/05 - Wiki
I seem to be compelled from some unnatural force to update my web page lately, preferably with useless trinkets and mindless gadgets. Therefore, to join the "Quote of the Day" I've now added yet another waste of bits: I give you, the Wiki. As with most wikis, you can edit this one freely as you see fit. You may create a username to login with if you wish... or not, it's up to you.
05/17/05
Come one, come all to this wonderous activity Saturday, May 28. We will be helping Shane and Ashley clean and organize the Quake Room in order to sell the house followed by UT2004, Quake III, etc. Please try to arrive around 10:00 am.
12/06/04 - New Year's Eve 2004
Last year we thought it would be fun to hook up a couple of Game Cubes to play Mario Kart: Double Dash with 8 players. Turns out, it's a blast! Therefore, this year, I'd like to announce the 2nd annual Mario Kart New Year's Eve Party. This year's party featurs not one Game Cube, not two... but three. Yes, three Game Cubes, 12 players, and an endless supply of chaos.
12/06/04 - UT2004
At the last small party, I think it was decided that Unreal Tournament 2004 should take a larger role at our LAN parties. That game is designed for it, and has several great game types so it doesn't get old. We also tried Doom 3 and were quickly convinced in the developer's intent to make a great single-player game. :)
01/03/04 - Mario Kart
We had a small gathering on New Year's Eve to play some Mario Kart: Double Dash. This game allows you to hook up several game cubes together with a broadband adapter. We hooked up two game cubes, two copies of Mario Kart, and two projectors to create 8-player action! Here are some pictures I took of the New Year's event.
